The Consultation
This is the FIRST step in any salon experience at Locspiration. As a new guest, our priority is to provide an excellent salon experience beginning from the consultation. This is your opportunity to learn more about services we offer and for your stylist to learn more about you and your wants and desires for your locs and/or natural hair. Our consultations are thorough and give you a thorough analysis of the current condition of your hair.
This will be your initial visit if:
- you are an existing guest who has not received services with us in the last 6 months
- you are a new guest with locs or natural hair already
- you are a new guest looking to start locs of any kind (starter locs, Microlocks, Sisterlocks, etc.), interested in coloring services, or interested in Loc Repair (including Loc Reattachment) services.
You MUST complete an in-salon consultation PRIOR to reserving an appointment. After your completed consultation, we will assist you in reserving an appointment with one of the new guest packages. Typically we do not have availability for same day service, however if there is availability in the schedule we will offer as an option during scheduling.
💜HAIR PREPARATION💜: Your hair must be free from braids, extensions, etc. Hair must be freshly cleansed within 24 hours and free from product. Your hair should be in its natural state so we can assess your hair and scalp properly. If hair is not prepped to these standards, your consultation will be rescheduled.
PRICING
Our pricing structure is based on a starting price for all services based on average time to complete service and/or hourly price structure. Depending on length of locs, condition of locs, maturity of locs, and service time, final cost will be reflective of these factors. Beyond the base time required for the style, the stylist’s hourly rate will be charged for any additional time.
PAYMENT
We accept cash, credit and debit cards, PayPal, and Apple Pay and/or Samsung Pay.
CHILDREN & ADDITIONAL GUESTS
For safety and insurance reasons, children are ONLY allowed in the salon when they are being serviced. Your understanding is greatly appreciated. If children are brought to the salon, your appointment will be rescheduled. Children who are 10 years old or younger must be accompanied in the salon by a parent or guardian at least 18 years old at all times in the salon.
Additional guests are not permitted to accompany you to your appointment. If an adult guest arrives with additional guests, the additional guest will not be permitted in the service area.
